Description: This interactive animation schematically shows forces as function of stroke during the deep drawing process. The drawing force, Fp increases during the deep drawing process, forming a characteristic (critical) maximum. The bottom of the blank first deforms as in stretch forming before the actual deep drawing forming begins.
