Description: This interactive exercise allows to evaluate a student's understanding of thermodynamics and kinetics of electrochemical (corrosion) reactions. Given the Nernst equation for a metal dissolution reaction you have to answer a question whether the electrochemical cell produce enough energy to make the light-bulb glow.
