Description: The Clausius-Clapeyron relation represents the mathematical form of the coexistence curve (aka lines of equilibrium) on a phase diagram. The coexistence curve marks the points on a pressure-temperature plot where multiple phases can coexist.

TeX format: {dP\over dT} = \frac{L}{T\Delta V}

dP/dT {dP\over dT} = Slope of the coexistence curve (JK-1m-3) {JK^{-1}m^{-3}}
L {L} = Latent heat (J) {J}
T {T} = Temperature (K) {K}
ΔV {\Delta V} = Volume change of the phase transition (m3) {m^3}
