Description: Atomic Control is a software application written in Java which allows you to create your own crystal structures and to manipulate them in three dimensional space on your desktop, as well as simulate X-ray diffraction patterns of your crystals. The presentation included here gives some background and rationale behind creating the software, and contains demo screenshots. It is standalone Java Application (requires Java 1.4 and later as well as Java3D).
