Description: This is a photograph, showing Argonne scientist Yugang Sun prepares a sample of silver chloride nanowires at the Center for Nanoscale Materials. The nanowires, when decorated with gold nanoparticles, can have pollution-controlling properties; because gold nanoparticles create visible-light catalysis in nanowires.
