Description: This image shows a low pressure drop steam reformer developed at PNNL and used for converting liquid fuel to hydrogen for fuel cells for the Department of Energy Office of Transportation Technology, USA. Because of its small size and rapid heat input, this reformer is also being developed for military applications.
