Description: This resource is a video guide, which shows how to measure a surface profile with the help of Dektak Veeco 8 Stylus profilometer. A profilometer is an analytical instrument used measure a surface profile, in order to quantify its roughness. Vertical resolution is ususally in the nanometer level. Thickness of thin film coatings can aslo be determined using this method.
